KICK-OFF MEETING

FARMŸNG’s partners officially kicked off the BBI JU project on the 13th July 2019, to build the first and largest fully automated industrial unit specialized in the production of high-end insect proteins. Based in Amiens Métropole (Hauts-de-France), FARMŸNG is co-financed by the European Commission and the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) for €20 million.

During the Kick-off meeting, all 21 FARMŸNG’s partners were presented their participation in Work Packages, their objectives and expectations for the next 3 years.

The FARMŸNG Consortium comprises 19> partners from 8 countries with strong multidisciplinary competences required for carrying out the work plan and match project objectives.

This project has received funding from the Biobased Industries Joint Undertaking (JU) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 837750. The JU receives support from the 22 European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the Bio-based Industries Consortium
